The boys you have as friends who are your age are also experiencing puberty. Their bodies are going through many changes, too. The boys grow hair on their bodies, have emotional changes, and develop sexually during puberty.

Don't tease boys about their bodies or other things. It's imperative to be kind and caring toward boys. If you see a boy being teased, be a responsible young woman and stick up for him. He will probably be very grateful and happy for your understanding and support. Remember: boys go through puberty much like girls.

Getting smacked in the testicles is egregiously (extremely) painful for boys and men. Sometimes when boys are hit in the groin, they fall to the ground in extreme pain, holding their testicles. The pain can last for a while, as the boy hopes for the pain to subside (go away).

Pain in the testicles is the body's way of protecting them from injury and warning a boy that he’s in danger, so he is careful not to hurt them.

Never kick or hit a boy in the testicles on purpose, as it could result in a very serious injury.
